This program begins with community sensitization and enrollment campaigns while engaging local leaders and households. Additionally, we raise awareness about the importance of early and consistent prenatal care. Through door-to-door outreach, community forums, and provision of antenatal care through clinics in our network, marginalized women are granted an opportunity receive holistic care.
The Maternal Support Circle is a cornerstone program of Mother’s Roots Initiative. It provides a safe, nurturing space where expectant and new mothers can connect, share experiences, and receive critical support throughout their pregnancy and postpartum journey.
Our Early Childhood Immunizations & Screenings program is designed to provide equitable access to essential, preventive healthcare for children aged 0–5 living in marginalized neighborhoods.
This program addresses the critical gaps in dietary intake among pregnant women, nursing mothers, and young children. Malnutrition and micronutrient deficiencies pose significant health risks to our program beneficiaries and contribute to complications during pregnancy.
MRI's Emergency Services Program is designed to provide timely, affordable, and culturally responsive transportation services during maternal, neonatal, and pediatric emergencies.
At MRI, we realize that positive change is a gradual process requiring input from stakeholders invested in maternal health. Consequently, we advocate for policies that protect the rights and well-being of mothers.
